In order to reduce the transfer of noise between rooms, different sound insulation materials may be used, though it is recommended that the sound barrier is combined of different materials.

The ISOPHON membrane is designed to effectively prevent the transfer of noise between rooms because of its high density and elasticity, thus ensuring maximal comfort.

The ISOPHON membrane is especially effective against low pitch noise transfer and are therefore installed as an autonomous product or in combination with mineral wool or plasterboards.
