Thermoplastic production and processing

History

1955	Our beginnings date back to 1955, when the then company KONUS began introducing chemical processing industry programmes.

1965	In 1961 we faced the introduction of plastic material processing.

1975	In 1975, a KONUS-KOTERM organizational unit was established - already having 20 years of experience - the main activity of which was the production and processing of PE and PP into intermediary and final products.

1980	In 1980, we purchased the first press - six years later, the second press was purchased.

1989	The introduction of panel extrusion meant a big step in the company development and expansion. After beginning extruded panel production which offer a wide spectre of application, the company began to supply all industry branches. Today, this programme constitutes about 50% of complete production.

1995	The company gains a new owner - Isosport GmbH, Eisenstadt, Austria and becomes a part of CONSTANTIA Industries AG, meaning better business operation and development conditions and the introduction to the EU market.
